Patrol responded to Buck Road for a report of two-vehicle accident.  Unit #1 reports being stopped at Briarwood Drive and Buck Road, attempting to make a right turn onto Buck Road, when they were struck in the rear bumper and driver side of the vehicle by Unit #2.  Both vehicles were towed from the scene and no injuries were reported.

Patrol responded to Ironworks Circle for a report of suspicious persons.  Complainant states that what appeared to be five juvenile males were seen on surveillance cameras in the early morning hours coming to the complainant’s door.  The cameras were able to catch the juveniles arriving in a vehicle and leaving in the same vehicle.  Complainant is attempting to get additional surveillance video.

Patrol responded to Grace Drive for a report of an animal complaint.  Complainant reports their neighbor’s cat came in to their yard, where a melee ensued with the Complainants dogs and the cat.  The neighbor followed the cat into the yard and was able to get the cat away of the dogs.  The cat was taken to the emergency vet, where it was pronounced deceased.  The neighbor went to Urgent Care for a bite received while trying to break up the melee.  Complainant’s dog received a laceration and required veterinary care.  The cat was found to be out of compliance with its’ rabies vaccination and Complainant was advised of the necessary quarantine required.

Patrol responded to Glen Meadow Road for a report of an injured animal.  Complainant reports a small fawn appearing to be injured going between their yard and their neighbor’s yard.  Patrol advised to leave the fawn alone as it’s mother will return. 

Patrol responded to Almshouse and Hatboro Roads for a report two juveniles riding scooters on the roadway.  Patrol met with the juveniles, one of who’s scooter had died.  Patrol gave a courtesy transport to their home and spoke with a parent.

Patrol responded to a parking lot on 2nd Street Pike for a report of an accident.  Unit #1 states as they were pulling into a parking space they hit the bumper on the car to their right.  Minor damage was reported to both vehicle and no injuries were reported.

Patrol responded to Temperance Lane for a report of a dog bite.  Complainant indicates as they were working, a dog came down the driveway and bit their calf.  There was a small puncture wound.  The homeowner states the dog was accidently let out of the residence.  The dog owner was advised of quarantine requirements for the dog. 

Patrol responded to 2nd Street Pike for a report of an unidentified male sleeping in a vehicle.  Patrol found the subject who indicated they were just resting their eyes.   The subject was found to be operating with a suspended license and no proof of valid insurance.  The vehicle was towed.

Patrol responded to Almshouse Road for a report of two vehicle accident.  Unit #1 was making a left onto Almshouse Road when they struck Unit #2 who was traveling on Almshouse Road.  Minor injuries were reported and Unit #1 was towed from the scene.

Patrol responded to Hals Drive for a report of dwelling fire.  On location heavy smoke was coming from the home.  Patrol confirmed that the home’s occupants had gotten out of the home. Northampton Fire Company, was able to extinguish the fire.  Detectives are working with the township Fire Marshall.

Patrol responded to Newtown Richboro Road for a report of a two-vehicle accident.  Unit #2 was traveling on Newtown Richboro Road when a deer entered the highway, Unit #2 stopped and did not hit the deer, but was struck in the rear by Unit #1 who did not stop.  Unit #1 was towed from the scene and no injuries were reported.

Patrol responded to the Richboro Wawa for a report of a hit and run.  Complainant, Unit #2, states while at the gas pumps, Unit #1 backed into Unit #2 scraping the rear passenger side bumper and left the scene. Complainant was able to get the license plate.  Patrol responded to the location of Unit #1 who indicates they did not realize they had hit anything and had no damage to their vehicle. 

While on patrol, officers saw a person who was known to them to have an outstanding arrest warrant from Bucks County Adult Probation.   A review of the records showed the warrant was still outstanding.  Officers took the subject into custody, had them processed and transported them to the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office. 

Patrol responded to Manor Drive for a report of a stolen vehicle.  Complainant reports that their vehicle was under a tarp and not drivable.  It was last seen on 6/23/22 when Complainant returned to the property today, the vehicle was gone.  Officers are checking nearby surveillance cameras for additional information.

Patrol responded to Newtown Richboro Road for a report of a broken windshield, struck by a golf ball.  Complainant stated he was able to get the name and phone number of the golfer.  The golfer thought the ball had taken a hard left and went into the woods, but agreed to pay for the damage.

Patrol responded to Shelley Road for a report of a dog bite.  Upon arrival, Officers met with the Complainant who had been bit on the face.  Tri Hampton Rescue Squad was on scene.  The dog owner states that the dog suddenly jumped up and bit the Complainant while they were throwing food scraps.  The dog owner could not provide a current rabies vaccine nor a Bucks County dog license.  The owner was advised of quarantine requirements.

Patrol responded to Ronald Drive for a report of a coyote attack.  Complainant states that a coyote attacked their Yorkshire terrier. The coyote was last seen running towards East Rambler and Christopher Drive.  The dog has in excess of $5,000 of vet bills from the attack. 

During this tour Patrol responded to 24 Alarm calls; 12 Abandoned 911 calls; 24 Medical Calls; 9 Domestic Calls; 17 Bookings and 54 Traffic Monitoring details.
